Have you ever been invited to something that turned out to be vastly different than what was described to you? This is frustrating when it is a social event, but it can be eternally damaging when it deals with the church and faith. Today we’re going to look at what the disciples did in Acts 2 after inviting the people in Jerusalem to belief in Jesus as their LORD and Savior, to help the 3,000 people who joined grow into disciples within the church. We’re going to try to answer the question, "What is the purpose of the church and what should one expect of a church when they walk through the doors?”
